Isaiah 14:2

14:2 Nations will take them and bring them back to their own place. Then the family of Jacob will make foreigners their servants as they settle in the Lord’s land. ¹  They will make their captors captives and rule over the ones who oppressed them.

Isaiah 49:23

49:23 Kings will be your children’s ²  guardians;

their princesses will nurse your children. ³ 

With their faces to the ground they will bow down to you

and they will lick the dirt on ⁴  your feet.

Then you will recognize that I am the Lord;

those who wait patiently for me are not put to shame.

Isaiah 58:3

58:3 They lament, ⁵  ‘Why don’t you notice when we fast?

Why don’t you pay attention when we humble ourselves?’

Look, at the same time you fast, you satisfy your selfish desires, ⁶

Isaiah 58:13

58:13 You must ⁸  observe the Sabbath ⁹ 

rather than doing anything you please on my holy day. ¹⁰ 

You must look forward to the Sabbath ¹¹ 

and treat the Lord’s holy day with respect. ¹² 

You must treat it with respect by refraining from your normal activities,

and by refraining from your selfish pursuits and from making business deals. ¹³

Some see here a reference to idle talk (cf. 2 Sam 19:30).
