Isaiah 14:22

14:22 “I will rise up against them,”

says the Lord who commands armies.

“I will blot out all remembrance of Babylon and destroy all her people, ¹ 

including the offspring she produces,” ² 

says the Lord.

Isaiah 17:3

17:3 Fortified cities will disappear from Ephraim,

and Damascus will lose its kingdom. ³ 

The survivors in Syria

will end up like the splendor of the Israelites,”

says the Lord who commands armies.
