15:5 My heart cries out because of Moab’s plight, ¹ 

and for the fugitives ²  stretched out ³  as far as Zoar and Eglath Shelishiyah.

For they weep as they make their way up the ascent of Luhith;

they loudly lament their demise on the road to Horonaim. ⁴

Egypt Will Disappoint

31:1 Those who go down to Egypt for help are as good as dead, ⁵ 

those who rely on war horses,

and trust in Egypt’s many chariots ⁶

But they do not rely on the Holy One of Israel ⁸ 

and do not seek help from the Lord.

Isaiah 55:10

55:10 ¹⁴ The rain and snow fall from the sky

Isaiah 60:9

60:9 Indeed, the coastlands ¹⁵  look eagerly for me,

the large ships ¹⁶  are in the lead,

bringing your sons from far away,

along with their silver and gold,

to honor the Lord your God, ¹⁷ 

the Holy One of Israel, ¹⁸  for he has bestowed honor on you.

Isaiah 62:4

62:4 You will no longer be called, “Abandoned,”

and your land will no longer be called “Desolate.”

Indeed, ¹⁹  you will be called “My Delight is in Her,” ²⁰ 

and your land “Married.” ²¹ 

For the Lord will take delight in you,

and your land will be married to him. ²²
