Isaiah 17:13

Context

17:13 Though these people make an uproar as loud as the roaring of powerful waves, 1 

when he shouts at 2  them, they will flee to a distant land,

driven before the wind like dead weeds on the hills,

or like dead thistles 3  before a strong gale.

Isaiah 31:8

Context

31:8 Assyria will fall by a sword, but not one human-made; 4 

a sword not made by humankind will destroy them. 5 

They will run away from this sword 6 

and their young men will be forced to do hard labor.
