Isaiah 20:1

Context

20:1 The Lord revealed the following message during the year in which King Sargon of Assyria sent his commanding general to Ashdod, and he fought against it and captured it. 1

Context

1:6 From the soles of your feet to your head,

there is no spot that is unharmed. 2 

There are only bruises, cuts,

and open wounds.

They have not been cleansed 3  or bandaged,

nor have they been treated 4  with olive oil. 5
