Isaiah 21:10

21:10 O my downtrodden people, crushed like stalks on the threshing floor, ¹ 

what I have heard

from the Lord who commands armies,

the God of Israel,

I have reported to you.

Isaiah 28:22

28:22 So now, do not mock,

or your chains will become heavier!

For I have heard a message about decreed destruction,

from the sovereign master, the Lord who commands armies, against the entire land. ² 

Isaiah 38:7

38:7 Isaiah replied, ³  “This is your sign from the Lord confirming that the Lord will do what he has said:

[21:10]  ¹ tn Heb “My trampled one, and the son of the threshing floor.”

[28:22]  ² tn Or “the whole earth” (KJV, ASV, NAB, NCV).

[38:7]  ³ tn The words “Isaiah replied” are supplied in the translation for clarification. In the present form of the Hebrew text v. 7 is joined directly to v. 6, but vv. 21-22, if original to Isaiah 38, must be inserted here. See 2 Kgs 20:7-8.
