Isaiah 26:20

26:20 Go, my people! Enter your inner rooms!

Close your doors behind you!

Hide for a little while,

until his angry judgment is over! ¹ 

Isaiah 28:18-19

28:18 Your treaty with death will be dissolved; ² 

your agreement ³  with Sheol will not last. ⁴ 

When the overwhelming judgment sweeps by, ⁵ 

you will be overrun by it. ⁶ 

28:19 Whenever it sweeps by, it will overtake you;

indeed, ⁷  every morning it will sweep by,

it will come through during the day and the night.” ⁸ 

When this announcement is understood,

it will cause nothing but terror.
