Isaiah 28:17

28:17 I will make justice the measuring line,

fairness the plumb line;

hail will sweep away the unreliable refuge, ¹ 

the floodwaters will overwhelm the hiding place.

Isaiah 28:2

28:2 Look, the sovereign master ²  sends a strong, powerful one. ³ 

With the force of a hailstorm or a destructive windstorm, ⁴ 

with the might of a driving, torrential rainstorm, ⁵ 

he will knock that crown ⁶  to the ground with his hand. ⁷ 

Isaiah 30:30

30:30 The Lord will give a mighty shout ⁸ 

and intervene in power, ⁹ 

with furious anger and flaming, destructive fire, ¹⁰ 

with a driving rainstorm and hailstones.
