Isaiah 29:8

Context

29:8 It will be like a hungry man dreaming that he is eating,

only to awaken and find that his stomach is empty. 1 

It will be like a thirsty man dreaming that he is drinking,

only to awaken and find that he is still weak and his thirst unquenched. 2 

So it will be for the horde from all the nations

that fight against Mount Zion.

Isaiah 36:12

Context
36:12 But the chief adviser said, “My master did not send me to speak these words only to your master and to you. 3  His message is also for the men who sit on the wall, for they will eat their own excrement and drink their own urine along with you!” 4

54:1 “Shout for joy, O barren one who has not given birth!

I will make them happy in the temple where people pray to me. 5 

Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar,

for my temple will be known as a temple where all nations may pray.” 6
