Isaiah 3:11

3:11 Too bad for the wicked sinners!

For they will get exactly what they deserve. ¹ 

Isaiah 8:17

8:17 I will wait patiently for the Lord,

who has rejected the family of Jacob; ² 

I will wait for him.

Isaiah 40:17-18

40:17 All the nations are insignificant before him;

they are regarded as absolutely nothing. ³ 

40:18 To whom can you compare God?

To what image can you liken him?

Isaiah 57:18

57:18 I have seen their behavior, ⁴ 

but I will heal them and give them rest,

and I will once again console those who mourn. ⁵
