Isaiah 33:3

33:3 The nations run away when they hear a loud noise; ¹ 

the nations scatter when you spring into action! ² 

Isaiah 11:12

11:12 He will lift a signal flag for the nations;

he will gather Israel’s dispersed people ³ 

and assemble Judah’s scattered people

from the four corners of the earth.

[33:3]  ¹ tn Heb “at the sound of tumult the nations run away.”

[33:3]  ² tn Heb “because of your exaltation the nations scatter.”

[11:12]  ³ tn Or “the banished of Israel,” i.e., the exiles.
