Isaiah 33:6

33:6 He is your constant source of stability; ¹ 

he abundantly provides safety and great wisdom; ² 

he gives all this to those who fear him. ³ 

Isaiah 7:25

7:25 They will stay away from all the hills that were cultivated, for fear of the thorns and briers. ⁴  Cattle will graze there and sheep will trample on them. ⁵

[33:6]  ² tn Heb “a rich store of deliverance, wisdom, and knowledge.”

[33:6]  ³ tn Heb “the fear of the Lord, it is his treasure.”

[7:25]  ⁴ tn Heb “and all the hills which were hoed with a hoe, you will not go there [for] fear of the thorns and briers.”

[7:25]  ⁵ tn Heb “and it will become a pasture for cattle and a trampling place for sheep.”
