Isaiah 40:27

Context

40:27 Why do you say, Jacob,

Why do you say, Israel,

“The Lord is not aware of what is happening to me, 1

My God is not concerned with my vindication”? 2

Isaiah 50:8

Context

50:8 The one who vindicates me is close by.

Who dares to argue with me? Let us confront each other! 3

Who is my accuser? 4  Let him challenge me! 5

Isaiah 49:4

Context

49:4 But I thought, 6  “I have worked in vain;

I have expended my energy for absolutely nothing.” 7

But the Lord will vindicate me;

my God will reward me. 8

Isaiah 58:2

Context

58:2 They seek me day after day;

they want to know my requirements, 9

like a nation that does what is right

and does not reject the law of their God.

They ask me for just decrees;

they want to be near God.
