Isaiah 40:27

Context

40:27 Why do you say, Jacob,

Why do you say, Israel,

“The Lord is not aware of what is happening to me,¹

My God is not concerned with my vindication”?²

Isaiah 50:8

Context

50:8 The one who vindicates me is close by.

Who dares to argue with me? Let us confront each other!³

Who is my accuser?⁴ Let him challenge me!⁵

49:4 But I thought,⁶ “I have worked in vain;

But the Lord will vindicate me;
