42:14 “I have been inactive ¹  for a long time;

I kept quiet and held back.

Like a woman in labor I groan;

I pant and gasp. ² 

Isaiah 64:12

64:12 In light of all this, ³  how can you still hold back, Lord?

How can you be silent and continue to humiliate us?

Isaiah 65:6

65:6 Look, I have decreed: ⁴ 

I will not keep silent, but will pay them back;

The Lord Takes Delight in Zion

62:1 “For the sake of Zion I will not be silent;
