[5:23]  1 tn Heb “and the just cause of the innocent ones they turn aside from him.”

[10:30]  2 tc The Hebrew text reads “Poor [is] Anathoth.” The parallelism is tighter if עֲנִיָּה (’aniyyah,“poor”) is emended to עֲנִיהָ (’aniha, “answer her”). Note how the preceding two lines have an imperative followed by a proper name.

[30:11]  3 sn The imagery refers to the way or path of truth, as revealed by God to the prophet.
