Isaiah 55:13

Context

55:13 Evergreens will grow in place of thorn bushes,

firs will grow in place of nettles;

they will be a monument to the Lord, 1 

a permanent reminder that will remain. 2 

Joshua 4:20-21

4:20 Now Joshua set up in Gilgal the 3  twelve stones they had taken from the Jordan. 4:21 He told the Israelites, “When your children someday ask their fathers, ‘What do these stones represent?’ 4 

Joshua 22:27-28

22:27 but as a reminder to us and you, 5  and to our descendants who follow us, that we will honor the Lord in his very presence 6  with burnt offerings, sacrifices, and tokens of peace. 7  Then in the future your descendants will not be able to say to our descendants, ‘You have no right to worship the Lord.’ 8  22:28 We said, ‘If in the future they say such a thing 9  to us or to our descendants, we will reply, “See the model of the Lord’s altar that our ancestors 10  made, not for burnt offerings or sacrifices, but as a reminder to us and you.”’ 11

22:34 The Reubenites and Gadites named the altar, “Surely it is a Reminder to us 12  that the Lord is God.”

Joshua 24:26-27

Context
24:26 Joshua wrote these words in the Law Scroll of God. He then took a large stone and set it up there under the oak tree near the Lord’s shrine. 24:27 Joshua said to all the people, “Look, this stone will be a witness against you, for it has heard everything the Lord said to us. 13  It will be a witness against you if 14  you deny your God.”
