• Hai Kamu Sekalian yang Berdahaga [KJ.146b]

  1. Hai kamu sekalian yang berdahaga, hai datang kemari dan minumlah air; dan biar padamu wang perak tiada, silakan, belilah makanan ajaib: air anggur, air susu, tak usah kaubayar. Telah tersedia Perjamuan Raya!
  2. Mengapa upahmu dan hasil jerihmu kaubuang terus untuk barang fana? Dengarkanlah Aku, besarkan hatimu: di sini kau dapat santapan baka. Kecaplah dan lihatlah seraya dijamu, betapa besar kebajikan Tuhanmu!
  3. Pasanglah telinga dandatang padaKu, hai kamu sekalian yang berlelah; tanggalkan bebanmu, sehingga jiwamu menjadi tenang dan hatimu lega. Yang lapar dan haus merindukan Daku, Kusambut di Meja Perjanjian Baru!

  Come, ye disconsolate, where’er ye languish, Come to the mercy seat, fervently kneel. Here bring your wounded hearts, here tell your anguish; Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. Joy of the desolate, light of the straying, Hope of the penitent, fadeless and pure! Here speaks the Comforter, tenderly saying, “Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot cure.” Here see the Bread of Life, see waters flowing Forth from the throne of God, pure from above. Come to the feast of love; come, ever knowing Earth has no sorrow but heaven can remove.
