62:8 The Lord swears an oath by his right hand,

by his strong arm: 1 

“I will never again give your grain

to your enemies as food,

and foreigners will not drink your wine,

which you worked hard to produce.

Isaiah 65:8

Context

65:8 This is what the Lord says:

“When 2  juice is discovered in a cluster of grapes,

someone says, ‘Don’t destroy it, for it contains juice.’ 3 

So I will do for the sake of my servants –

I will not destroy everyone. 4
