Isaiah 7:24

7:24 With bow and arrow ¹  men will hunt ²  there, for the whole land will be covered ³  with thorns and briers.

Isaiah 5:6

5:6 I will make it a wasteland;

no one will prune its vines or hoe its ground, ⁴ 

and thorns and briers will grow there.

I will order the clouds

not to drop any rain on it.

Isaiah 7:25

7:25 They will stay away from all the hills that were cultivated, for fear of the thorns and briers. ⁵  Cattle will graze there and sheep will trample on them. ⁶

9:18 For ⁷  evil burned like a fire, ⁸ 

it consumed thorns and briers;

it burned up the thickets of the forest,

and they went up in smoke. ⁹
