[7:4]  ³ sn The derogatory metaphor indicates that the power of Rezin and Pekah is ready to die out.

[38:5]  ⁴ tn Heb “father” (so KJV, NAB, NIV).

[49:21]  ⁷ tn Heb “and you will say in your heart.”

[49:21]  ⁸ tn Or “exiled and thrust away”; NIV “exiled and rejected.”
