Isaiah 7:7

7:7 For this reason the sovereign master, ¹  the Lord, says:

“It will not take place;

it will not happen.

Isaiah 45:10

45:10 Danger awaits one who says ²  to his father,

“What in the world ³  are you fathering?”

and to his mother,

“What in the world are you bringing forth?” ⁴ 

Isaiah 66:21

66:21 And I will choose some of them as priests and Levites,” says the Lord.

[7:7]  ¹ tn The Hebrew term translated “sovereign master” here and in vv. 14, 19 is אֲדֹנָי (’adonay).
