James 1:11

Context

James 1:27

Context
1:27 Pure and undefiled religion before 2  God the Father 3  is this: to care for orphans and widows in their misfortune and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

James 2:16

Context
2:16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, keep warm and eat well,” but you do not give them what the body needs, 4  what good is it?

James 5:7

Context
Patience in Suffering

5:7 So be patient, brothers and sisters, 5  until the Lord’s return. 6  Think of how the farmer waits 7  for the precious fruit of the ground and is patient 8  for it until it receives the early and late rains.
