Judges 1:20

1:20 Caleb received ¹  Hebron, just as Moses had promised. He drove out the three Anakites.

Judges 8:8

8:8 He went up from there to Penuel and made the same request. ²  The men of Penuel responded the same way the men of Succoth had. ³ 

[1:20]  ¹ tn Heb “they gave to Caleb.”

[8:8]  ² tn Heb “and spoke to them in the same way.”

[8:8]  ³ tn Heb “The men of Penuel answered him just as the men of Succoth answered.”
