Context11:37 She then said to her father, “Please grant me this one wish. 1 For two months allow me to walk through the hills with my friends and mourn my virginity.” 2
Judges 14:16-17
Context14:16 So Samson’s bride cried on his shoulder 3 and said, “You must 4 hate me; you do not love me! You told the young men 5 a riddle, but you have not told me the solution.” He said to her, “Look, I have not even told my father or mother. Do you really expect me to tell you?” 6 14:17 She cried on his shoulder 7 until the party was almost over. 8 Finally, on the seventh day, he told her because she had nagged him so much. 9 Then she told the young men the solution to the riddle. 10
Judges 20:23
Context20:23 The Israelites went up and wept before the Lord until evening. They asked the Lord, “Should we 11 again march out to fight 12 the Benjaminites, our brothers?” 13 The Lord said, “Attack them!” 14
Judges 20:26
Context20:26 So all the Israelites, the whole army, 15 went up to 16 Bethel. 17 They wept and sat there before the Lord; they did not eat anything 18 that day until evening. They offered up burnt sacrifices and tokens of peace 19 to the Lord.
