16:29 Samson took hold of the two middle pillars that supported the temple ¹  and he leaned against them, with his right hand on one and his left hand on the other.

Civil War Breaks Out

20:1 All the Israelites from Dan to Beer Sheba ²  and from the land of Gilead ³  left their homes ⁴  and assembled together ⁵  before the Lord at Mizpah.

Judges 21:3

21:3 They said, “Why, O Lord God of Israel, has this happened in Israel?” An entire ⁶  tribe has disappeared from Israel today!”

[20:1]  ² sn Dan was located in the far north of the country, while Beer Sheba was located in the far south. This encompassed all the territory of the land of Canaan occupied by the Israelites.
