Context19:13 He said to his servant, 1 “Come on, we will go into one of the other towns 2 and spend the night in Gibeah or Ramah.” 19:14 So they traveled on, 3 and the sun went down when they were near Gibeah in the territory of Benjamin. 4

[20:43] 9 tn Heb “unto the opposite of Gibeah toward the east.” Gibeah cannot be correct here, since the Benjaminites retreated from there toward the desert and Rimmon (see v. 45). A slight emendation yields the reading “Geba.”
