The End of an Era

2:6 When Joshua dismissed ¹  the people, the Israelites went to their allotted portions of territory, ²  intending to take possession of the land.

Judges 9:55

9:55 When the Israelites saw that Abimelech was dead, they went home. ³

18:21 They turned and went on their way, but they walked behind the children, the cattle, and their possessions. ⁴
