Context9:27 They went out to the field, harvested their grapes, 1 squeezed out the juice, 2 and celebrated. They came to the temple 3 of their god and ate, drank, and cursed Abimelech.

[11:3] 6 tn Heb “Empty men joined themselves to Jephthah and went out with him.”
[20:1] 7 sn Dan was located in the far north of the country, while Beer Sheba was located in the far south. This encompassed all the territory of the land of Canaan occupied by the Israelites.
[20:1] 8 sn The land of Gilead was on the eastern side of the Jordan River.
