9:5 He went to his father’s home in Ophrah and murdered his half-brothers, 1  the seventy legitimate 2  sons of Jerub-Baal, on one stone. Only Jotham, Jerub-Baal’s youngest son, escaped, 3  because he hid.

11:2 Gilead’s wife also gave 4  him sons. When his wife’s sons grew up, they made Jephthah leave and said to him, “You are not going to inherit any of our father’s wealth, 5  because you are another woman’s son.”
