Jeremiah 2:26
Context2:26 Just as a thief has to suffer dishonor when he is caught,
so the people of Israel 1 will suffer dishonor for what they have done. 2
So will their kings and officials,
their priests and their prophets.
Micah 3:6-7
Context3:6 Therefore night will fall, and you will receive no visions; 3
it will grow dark, and you will no longer be able to read the omens. 4
The sun will set on these prophets,
and the daylight will turn to darkness over their heads. 5
3:7 The prophets 6 will be ashamed;
the omen readers will be humiliated.
All of them will cover their mouths, 7
for they will receive no divine oracles.” 8
