Jeremiah 21:9

21:9 Those who stay in this city will die in battle or of starvation or disease. Those who leave the city and surrender to the Babylonians who are besieging it will live. They will escape with their lives. ¹ 

Jeremiah 39:18

39:18 I will certainly save you. You will not fall victim to violence. ²  You will escape with your life ³  because you trust in me. I, the Lord, affirm it!”’” ⁴ 

Jeremiah 49:32

49:32 Their camels will be taken as plunder.

Their vast herds will be taken as spoil.

I will scatter to the four winds

those desert peoples who cut their hair short at the temples. ⁵ 

I will bring disaster against them

from every direction,” says the Lord. ⁶
