[6:30]  1 tn This translation is intended to reflect the wordplay in the Hebrew text where the same root word is repeated in the two lines.

[1:28]  2 tn Grk “and just as they did not approve to have God in knowledge.”

[1:28]  3 tn Grk “the things that are improper.”

[1:2]  4 tn Grk “the gospel of God, which he promised.” Because of the length and complexity of this sentence in Greek, it was divided into shorter English sentences in keeping with contemporary English style. To indicate the referent of the relative pronoun (“which”), the word “gospel” was repeated at the beginning of v. 2.

[3:8]  5 tn Grk “(as we are slandered and some affirm that we say…).”

[3:8]  6 tn Grk “whose.” Because of the length and complexity of the Greek sentence, this relative clause was rendered as a new sentence in the translation.
