1:38 Jesus turned around and saw them following and said to them, “What do you want?” 1  So they said to him, “Rabbi” (which is translated Teacher), 2  “where are you staying?”

John 12:40

12:40He has blinded their eyes

and hardened their heart, 3 

so that they would not see with their eyes

and understand with their heart, 4 

and turn to me, 5  and I would heal them. 6
