John 10:7-8

10:7 So Jesus said to them again, “I tell you the solemn truth, ¹  I am the door for the sheep. ²  10:8 All who came before me were ³  thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. ⁴ 

[10:7]  ¹ tn Grk “Truly, truly, I say to you.”

[10:7]  ² tn Or “I am the sheep’s door.”

[10:8]  ³ tn Grk “are” (present tense).

[10:8]  ⁴ tn Or “the sheep did not hear them.”
