John 12:27-29

Context

12:27 “Now my soul is greatly distressed. And what should I say? ‘Father, deliver me 1  from this hour’? 2  No, but for this very reason I have come to this hour. 3  12:28 Father, glorify your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, 4  “I have glorified it, 5  and I will glorify it 6  again.” 12:29 The crowd that stood there and heard the voice 7  said that it had thundered. Others said that an angel had spoken to him. 8
