• Menjulang Nyata Atas Bukit Kala [KJ.183] ( Above the Hills of Time )

  1. Menjulang nyata atas bukit kala t'rang benderang salibMu, Tuhanku. Dari sinarnya yang menyala-nyala memancarkan kasih agung dan restu. Seluruh umat insan menengadah ke arah cahya kasih yang mesra. Bagai pelaut yang karam merindukan di ufuk timur pagi merekah.	Mrk 15:22-26

  	Yoh 19:25
  1. Lihat bunda yang berduka di depan salib Sang Put'ra; air mata bergenang. O betapa jiwa ibu tersedu menanggung pilu, bagai ditembus pedang.	Luk 2:35
  2. Bunda Put'ra Tunggal Allah disebut "yang berbahagia" kini sangat bersedih. Hatinya dirundung duka, kar'na Put'ra yang termulia bersengsara di salib.	Luk 1:28, 42
  3. O siapa tidak pilu menyaksikan bunda Kristus menangisi Put'ranya? Dan siapa tak tergugah menyelami duka bunda Dalam siksa Anaknya?
  4. Dilihatnya Yesus, Put'ra, yang tersiksa dan terluka kar'na dosa umatNya dan bergumul sendirian menghadapi kematian menyerahkan nyawaNya.
  5. Wahai bunda, sumber kasih, biar turut kuhayati dukamu yang mencekam; biar hatiku bernyala mengasihi Put'ra Allah dan padaNya berkenan.
  6. Biarlah sengsara aib dari Dia yang tersalib tersemat di hatiku; yang ditanggungNya bagiku kudekap bersamamu.
  7. Biar aku disampingmu pilu kar'na wafat Kristus di sepanjang hidupku; inilah keinginanku: di dekat salib Put'ramu besertamu tersedu.
  8. O perawan yang terpilih, perkenankan aku ini ikut dikau bersedih; biar kematian Tuhan dan darahNya yang tercurah kukenangkan tak henti.
  9. Biar aku pun terluka, menghayati salib Tuhan, digerakkan kasihNya. Hatiku engkau kobarkan; biar aku dibebaskan dalam penghakimanNya.
  10. Biarlah salib Tuhanku jadi benteng naunganku dan kurasa rahmatNya. Bila nanti aku mati, biar aku mewarisi kemuliaan yang baka.

• [Joh 3:4] Man Named Nicodemus, A

  A man named Nicodemus to Jesus came one night. He said, “We know You’ve come from God; Your wonders show His might.” In answer, Jesus did declare, “Give heed, these words are true: You cannot see God’s kingdom come unless you’re born anew.” Then Nicodemus questioned, “Reborn, how can this be? For surely none can to the womb return and new life see.” Jesus replied, “Flesh brings forth flesh, but like the blowing wind, The Spirit does give birth to spirit; thus man is born again.” As Moses in the desert did lift the snake up high, The Son of Man must be raised up that men might live, not die. For God so loved this world of men, he gave his Son for us, That we might have eternal life, if we in Him do trust. God did not send His Son to condemn the world of sin. Christ came instead to save all those who place their trust in Him. All who believe escape God’s wrath; they come into the light. But all who practice evil deeds are guilty in God’s sight. Without the Son, all perish; the verdict is decreed. All those who fail to trust Christ’s Name condemned will ever be. Lord, give me boldness to proclaim Your message to the lost, That they might gain eternal life by looking to the cross.

• [Joh 19:25] My Lord, My Master, At Thy Feet Adoring

  My Lord, my Master, at Thy feet adoring, I see Thee bowed beneath Thy load of woe; For me, a sinner, is Thy life blood pouring; For Thee, my Savior, scarce my tears will flow. Thine own disciple to the Jews has sold Thee, With friendship’s kiss and loyal word he came; How oft of faithful love my lips have told Thee, While Thou hast seen my falsehood and my shame. With taunts and scoffs they mock what seems Thy weakness, With blows and outrage adding pain to pain; Thou art unmoved and steadfast in Thy meekness; When I am wronged how quickly I complain! My Lord, my Savior, when I see Thee wearing Upon Thy bleeding brow the crown of thorn, Shall I for pleasure live, or shrink from bearing Whate’er my lot may be of pain or scorn? O Victim of Thy love, O pangs most healing, O saving death, O wounds that I adore, O shame most glorious! Christ, before Thee kneeling, I pray Thee keep me Thine for evermore.
