Context1:11 “Go through the camp and command the people, ‘Prepare your supplies, for within three days you will cross the Jordan River and begin the conquest of the land the Lord your God is ready to hand over to you.’” 1

Context1:13 “Remember what Moses the Lord’s servant commanded you. 2 The Lord your God is giving you a place to settle and is handing this land over to you. 3

Context22:4 Now the Lord your God has made your fellow Israelites secure, 8 just as he promised them. So now you may turn around and go to your homes 9 in your own land 10 which Moses the Lord’s servant assigned to you east of the Jordan. 22:5 But carefully obey the commands and instructions Moses the Lord’s servant gave you. Love 11 the Lord your God, follow all his instructions, 12 obey 13 his commands, be loyal to him, 14 and serve him with all your heart and being!” 15

Context23:16 If you violate the covenantal laws of the Lord your God which he commanded you to keep, 16 and follow, worship, and bow down to other gods, 17 the Lord will be very angry with you and you will disappear 18 quickly from the good land which he gave to you.”
