Joshua 1:13

1:13 “Remember what Moses the Lord’s servant commanded you. ¹  The Lord your God is giving you a place to settle and is handing this land over to you. ² 

Joshua 22:5

22:5 But carefully obey the commands and instructions Moses the Lord’s servant gave you. Love ³  the Lord your God, follow all his instructions, ⁴  obey ⁵  his commands, be loyal to him, ⁶  and serve him with all your heart and being!” ⁷ 

Joshua 23:16

23:16 If you violate the covenantal laws of the Lord your God which he commanded you to keep, ⁸  and follow, worship, and bow down to other gods, ⁹  the Lord will be very angry with you and you will disappear ¹⁰  quickly from the good land which he gave to you.”

[23:16]  ⁵ tn Heb “when you violate the covenant of the Lord your God which he commanded you.”

[23:16]  ⁶ tn Heb “and you walk and serve other gods and bow down to them.”

[23:16]  ⁷ tn Or “perish.”
