Joshua 1:15

Context
1:15 until the Lord gives your brothers a place like yours to settle and they conquer the land the Lord your God is ready to hand over to them. Then you may go back to your allotted land and occupy the land Moses the Lord’s servant assigned you east of the Jordan.” 1 

Joshua 5:6

Context
5:6 Indeed, for forty years the Israelites traveled through the desert until all the men old enough to fight when they left Egypt, the ones who had disobeyed the Lord, died off. 2  For the Lord had sworn a solemn oath to them that he would not let them see the land he had sworn on oath to give them, 3  a land rich in 4  milk and honey.

13:21 It encompassed 13  all the cities of the plain and the whole realm of King Sihon of the Amorites who ruled in Heshbon. Moses defeated him and the Midianite leaders Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba (they were subjects of Sihon and lived in his territory). 14

14:10 So now, look, the Lord has preserved my life, just as he promised, these past forty-five years since the Lord spoke these words to Moses, during which Israel traveled through the wilderness. Now look, I am today eighty-five years old.

23:13 know for certain that the Lord our God will no longer drive out these nations from before you. They will trap and ensnare you; 19  they will be a whip that tears 20  your sides and thorns that blind 21  your eyes until you disappear 22  from this good land the Lord your God gave you.

23:15 But in the same way every faithful promise the Lord your God made to you has been realized, 23  it is just as certain, if you disobey, that the Lord will bring on you every judgment 24  until he destroys you from this good land which the Lord your God gave you.
