[10:19]  1 tn Heb “But [as for] you, don’t stand still, chase after your enemies and attack them from the rear.”

[10:19]  2 tn Or “enter into.”

[10:19]  3 tn Heb “has given them into your hand.” The verbal form is a perfect of certitude, emphasizing the certainty of the action.

[13:8]  4 tn The MT reads “with him,” which is problematic, since the reference would be to the other half of the tribe of Manasseh (not the half mentioned in v. 7).

[13:8]  5 tn Heb “received their inheritance, which Moses had assigned to them beyond the Jordan.”

[14:3]  7 tn Or “assigned an inheritance.”

[14:3]  8 tn Or “no inheritance.”

[14:3]  9 tn The Hebrew text adds, “in their midst.”

[21:43]  10 tn Heb “which he had sworn to give to their fathers.”

[21:43]  11 tn Or “possessed.”

[24:4]  13 tn Heb “I gave to Esau Mount Seir to possess it.”
