10:24 When they brought the kings out to Joshua, he 1  summoned all the men of Israel and said to the commanders of the troops who accompanied him, “Come here 2  and put your feet on the necks of these kings.” So they came up 3  and put their feet on their necks.

23:13 know for certain that the Lord our God will no longer drive out these nations from before you. They will trap and ensnare you; 4  they will be a whip that tears 5  your sides and thorns that blind 6  your eyes until you disappear 7  from this good land the Lord your God gave you.

23:15 But in the same way every faithful promise the Lord your God made to you has been realized, 8  it is just as certain, if you disobey, that the Lord will bring on you every judgment 9  until he destroys you from this good land which the Lord your God gave you.
