14:1 The following is a record of the territory assigned to the Israelites in the land of Canaan by Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the Israelite tribal leaders. ¹ 

Joshua 19:51

19:51 These are the land assignments which Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the Israelite tribal leaders ²  made by drawing lots in Shiloh before the Lord at the entrance of the tent of meeting. ³  So they finished dividing up the land.

[14:1]  ¹ tn Heb “These are [the lands] which the sons of Israel received as an inheritance in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes assigned as an inheritance to the sons of Israel.”

[19:51]  ² tn Heb “the leaders of the fathers of the tribes.”

[19:51]  ³ tn Heb “at the entrance of the tent of assembly.”
