Joshua 2:5

2:5 When it was time to shut the city gate for the night, the men left. ¹  I don’t know where they were heading. Chase after them quickly, for you have time to catch them!”

3:8 Instruct the priests carrying the ark of the covenant, ‘When you reach the bank of the Jordan River, ²  wade into the water.’” ³

Joshua 10:10

10:10 The Lord routed ¹³  them before Israel. Israel ¹⁴  thoroughly defeated them ¹⁵  at Gibeon. They chased them up the road to the pass ¹⁶  of Beth Horon and struck them down all the way to Azekah and Makkedah.

NEB “and Joshua defeated them utterly in Gibeon”).
