Joshua 2:8

2:8 Now before the spies ¹  went to sleep, Rahab ²  went up ³  to the roof.

2:6 (Now she had taken them up to the roof and had hidden them in the stalks of flax she had spread out ⁴  on the roof.)

[2:8]  ² tn Heb “she”; the referent (Rahab) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

[2:8]  ³ tn The Hebrew text adds, “to them.” This is somewhat redundant in English and has not been translated.

[2:6]  ⁴ tn Heb “arranged in rows by her.”
