Joshua 22:4

Context
22:4 Now the Lord your God has made your fellow Israelites secure, 1  just as he promised them. So now you may turn around and go to your homes 2  in your own land 3  which Moses the Lord’s servant assigned to you east of the Jordan.

Joshua 23:1

Context
Joshua Challenges Israel to be Faithful

23:1 A long time 4  passed after the Lord made Israel secure from all their enemies, 5  and Joshua was very old. 6

Hebrews 4:8-11

Context
4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God 7  would not have spoken afterward about another day. 4:9 Consequently a Sabbath rest remains for the people of God. 4:10 For the one who enters God’s 8  rest has also rested from his works, just as God did from his own works. 4:11 Thus we must make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by following the same pattern of disobedience.
