[6:7] 1 tn An alternative reading is “and they said.” In this case the subject is indefinite and the verb should be translated as passive, “[the army] was told.”
[7:10] 2 tn Heb “Why are you falling on your face?”
[9:8] 1 tn Heb “we are your servants.”
[10:18] 1 tn Heb “and appoint by it men to guard them.”
[24:21] 1 tn The translation assumes that כִּי (ki) is emphatic. Another option is to take it as explanatory, “No, for we will….”
