Joshua 4:18

4:18 The priests carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord came up from the middle of the Jordan, and as soon as they set foot on dry land, ¹  the water of the Jordan flowed again and returned to flood stage. ² 

Joshua 6:15

6:15 On the seventh day they were up at the crack of dawn ³  and marched around the city as before – only this time they marched around it seven times. ⁴ 

[4:18]  ¹ tn Heb “and the soles of the feet of the priests were brought up to the dry land.”

[4:18]  ² tn Heb “and the waters of the Jordan returned to their place and went as formerly over their banks.”

[6:15]  ³ tn Heb “On the seventh day they rose early, when the dawn ascended.”

[6:15]  ⁴ tn Heb “and they went around the city according to this manner seven times, only on that day they went around the city seven times.”
