Context5:1 When all the Amorite kings on the west side of the Jordan and all the Canaanite kings along the seacoast heard how the Lord had dried up the water of the Jordan before the Israelites while they 1 crossed, they lost their courage and could not even breathe for fear of the Israelites. 2
Joshua 8:29
Context8:29 He hung the king of Ai on a tree, leaving him exposed until evening. 3 At sunset Joshua ordered that his corpse be taken down from the tree. 4 They threw it down at the entrance of the city gate and erected over it a large pile of stones (it remains to this very day). 5
Joshua 22:9
Context22:9 So the Reubenites, Gadites, and half-tribe of Manasseh left the Israelites in Shiloh in the land of Canaan and headed home to their own land in Gilead, 6 which they acquired by the Lord’s command through Moses.
