Joshua 6:18

6:18 But be careful when you are setting apart the riches for the Lord. If you take any of it, you will make the Israelite camp subject to annihilation and cause a disaster. ¹ 

Joshua 7:2

7:2 Joshua sent men from Jericho ²  to Ai (which is located near Beth Aven, east of Bethel ³ ) and instructed them, “Go up and spy on the land.” So the men went up and spied on Ai.

Joshua 7:26

7:26 Then they erected over him a large pile of stones (it remains to this very day ⁴ ) and the Lord’s anger subsided. So that place is called the Valley of Disaster to this very day.

11:20 for the Lord determined to make them obstinate so they would attack Israel. He wanted Israel to annihilate them without mercy, as he had instructed Moses. ⁷

14:11 Today I am still as strong as when Moses sent me out. I can fight and go about my daily activities with the same energy I had then. ⁸

19:9 Simeon’s assigned land was taken from Judah’s allotted portion, for Judah’s territory was too large for them; so Simeon was assigned land within Judah. ⁹

23:6 Be very strong! Carefully obey ¹⁰  all that is written in the law scroll of Moses so you won’t swerve from it to the right or the left,
