Joshua 8:19

8:19 When he held out his hand, the men waiting in ambush rose up quickly from their place and attacked. ¹  They entered the city, captured it, and immediately set it on fire.

Joshua 10:6

10:6 The men of Gibeon sent this message to Joshua at the camp in Gilgal, “Do not abandon ²  your subjects! ³  Rescue us! Help us! For all the Amorite kings living in the hill country are attacking us.” ⁴ 

Joshua 23:16

23:16 If you violate the covenantal laws of the Lord your God which he commanded you to keep, ⁵  and follow, worship, and bow down to other gods, ⁶  the Lord will be very angry with you and you will disappear ⁷  quickly from the good land which he gave to you.”
